LigerLabs was developed with support from the NSF under grant SATC/EDU-2029632.

I am the primary developer of the Tigress obfuscation tool used extensively in LigerLabs for generating reverse engineering exercises for students. Tigress was developed with support from the NSF under grant SATC/TTP-1525820.

Why "LigerLabs"? Well, this is a companion site to the Tigress site, Ligers are the largest feline, and, also, Ligers are everyone's favorite animal!

With Jasvir Nagra, I am the author of the first comprehensive textbook on software protection, Surreptitious Software: Obfuscation, Watermarking, and Tamperproofing for Software Protection, published in Addison-Wesley's computer security series. It has also been translated into Portuguese and Chinese.

The cover picture was taken be me in Japan.
